A Musical Journey
Nick Mardon is a professional musician from Seattle, Washington. He performs throughout the northwest as a songwriter and bandleader as well as being a session musician, sideman, and private instructor. Nick performs, records, and teaches Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals in nearly every genre of music, from Jazz to Hard Rock.
Nick has a wide range of influences from singer-songwriters like Elliot Smith, John Mayer, or Nick Drake to fusion instrumentalists like Eric Johnson and Robben Ford. In his original music, Nick touches on many genres with distinguished melodic style and instrumental energy.
Nick plays hundreds of gigs annually with many different groups and styles ranging from jazz to metal. Nick has performed at The Paramount Theater, The Moore Theater, The Everett Historic Theatre, The Hard Rock Cafe, Marymoor Park, Highway 99 Blues Club, Capp's Club as well as hundreds of other festivals, clubs, bars, wineries. Nick currently performs with The Nick Mardon Trio and has previously performed with Melissa Etheridge, Robert Glasper, Ayron Jones, Geoffrey Castle, Randy Oxford, James and Montgomery, Andy and the Architects, Jesse James and the MOB, Bad Idea, Small Town Soul Band, Richard Allen and the Louisiana Experience, Pellegrini, Megan Moreau, The Max Cannella Trio, JNAII, and The Alison Banchero Band.
